Dear Customers, Suppliers, Associates, and Friends of CBT,
2017 has been another big year for CBT. Our new headquarters on Ridge Avenue in Columbia Township has enabled us to continue to grow both internally and externally to better support our customers. Fifteen people were added to the CBT family this year and we were able to expand our vendor and customer base in the Cincinnati area. We hosted many successful events this year, but the highlight was the Cincinnati Open House. Thank you to over 800 customers who attended the show and 60 vendors who displayed their products and services. The Open House enabled us to showcase our expanded inventory space, in-house training facility, counter area, interactive demonstration wall, and breadth of product. This year also marked the first complete year of business in our most northern region. Our newest branch in Sidney has enabled us to spend the year providing knowledge and solutions to existing customers, while introducing our business to new companies in the area. We look forward to continuing to develop our relationships with those in the Sidney area. In 2017, we focused largely on improving CBT’s digital presence. An enormous amount of time and resources were spent on developing a fully functional B2B website for our customers. In May we launched our new eCommerce site enabling customers to purchase our entire product offering directly online. CBT’s new site offers unique features such as importing bill of materials, a product configurator tool, online lists, and tracking capabilities. The website continues to be a work in progress and we hope to utilize our site to better serve you. We would love to have your feedback!

In closing, allow me to extend to each of you the peace of Christ at Christmas. Enjoy Christmas by spending quality time with your friends and family, not just exchanging gifts, but sharing friendships and blessings. Somehow touch those less fortunate in our community. Try a simpler Christmas so that others can simply enjoy Christmas. P.S. Our eight grandchildren are growing too, too fast. The oldest will graduate from Elon University next Spring, two are in college – one at Miami-Oxford and the other at Ohio State. The other five are in high school or soon will be. They are all good students and successful athletes.
