A Letter From Jim Stahl: Thanks For A Great 2015!

Published: Dec 11 2015

Thank You

Dear Customers, Suppliers, Associates, and Friends of CBT,

2015 has been a big year for CBT, and I am very happy to share some wonderful news that transpired over the summer. On June 26, we announced that we had purchased the old Kmart property on Ridge Road in Columbia Township (just past the Norwood lateral, about nine miles from our Sixth Street location). We are building a new, 100,000 square foot facility to house our Cincinnati headquarters. We were quickly outgrowing our old facilities on West Sixth Street, so we began the search two years ago for a new location that would support our expanding product and service offerings for the next several decades. Our goal was to stay as close as we could to our old address and have space to develop a facility that would meet all of our customers’ expectations, such as a larger counter area, larger conference and training room, and plenty of parking. With our new headquarters in Cincinnati and our recently-updated, 30,000 square foot facility in Springboro, Ohio, we will soon have plenty of room for all of our associates for years to come. Our high-tech business has continued to grow substantially in 2015, and our process technology business has followed right along. We have witnessed process technology become an important offering that seems to have piqued the interest of our customers, and we will continue to provide them with the best resources on the market. We also put a greater focus on helping our customers online in 2015 with the launch of our first blog, Solutions Warehouse, in May. In our blog posts each week, we aim to provide our customers with the information they need regarding a wide range of topics, including new products and technology, problem-solving solutions, and new safety standards. I even agreed to bring back Chip Shots, a golf column that appeared in our company newsletter years ago. You can also follow us on LinkedIn to see the latest updates from our blog and from some of our valued suppliers.

To Our Customers

Thank you for your business! We greatly appreciate the opportunity to work for you. If we ever forget to express our appreciation, I apologize. We look forward to serving you for many years in the future.

To Our Suppliers

Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support. It is an honor to be your partner.

To All At CBT

Thank you for your efforts in 2015. Our continued success and growth is a result of your hard work. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. In closing, allow me to extend to each of you the peace of Christ on Christmas. Enjoy Christmas by spending quality time with your friends and family, not just exchanging gifts, but sharing friendships and blessings. Somehow touch those less fortunate in our community. Try a more simple Christmas so that others can simply enjoy Christmas. P.S. Our eight grandchildren are all doing great work and growing up too fast. We have two now in college with another not far behind. We are as proud of their academic accomplishments as we are of their athletic prowess.
