CBT MIKE CORRADO SPECIALIST

What does it mean to be a CBT Specialist? Our team of industry-leading experts goes above and beyond to find custom solutions for each application. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to customer challenges, and decades of training and real-time knowledge application enable our team to provide unparalleled customer service.

Q: What unique role do you fill at CBT? What is your area of expertise?

A: I am the Gear Reducer Product Manager here at CBT. I specialize in gear reducer and bearing sizing, selection, and interchange along with all other power transmission products.

Q: How many years of experience do you have? How long have you been part of the CBT team?

A: I have 27 years of power transmission experience, and I’ve been at CBT for 15 years.

Q: What types of relevant training have you completed to further help you in your current role?

A: I’ve been to Dodge PT schools, SEW advanced training, Nord, and FAG training. I’ve completed Timken bearing training levels 1, 2, and 3 as well as Martin’s material handling school. I’ve also done Baldor motor training, IDC school, IDEA school, and Warner’s clutches and brakes training. I believe with all that knowledge, it helps me think outside of the box when helping customers out here at CBT.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at CBT?

A: I enjoy working for Mr. Stahl and his family. I also enjoy working with my coworkers and trying to help solve our customers’ problems.

Q: How do you go above and beyond for our customers?

A: I can problem solve. When a customer comes to us with a part that they need, I don’t simply call the manufacturer with a part number and it’s something they can’t get. I can use my knowledge and the product knowledge I’ve learned here at CBT to find something for them. It’s not simply taking a part number, it’s actually opening the book up and using something I can get off the shelf here and get them up and running as soon as possible. They’re not going to wait. If they’re going to have to wait three or four weeks that doesn’t work, I’m going to solve their problem now.
